We're Efsus Games — five friends who met studying Digital Game Design at university in Istanbul. In our second year, we made a decision most of our classmates thought was reckless: we started our own studio.

 

In April 2026, we released our first game, Under the Disco Lights, on Steam through a publisher. The game shipped. We're proud of what we built. But we learned something the hard way: when you work with a publisher, you don't control how your game reaches the people who might love it. Marketing fell short. Visibility never came. The game we put a year of our lives into landed quietly.

 

So we made another decision. We packed up our company and moved to Tallinn, Estonia. We rebuilt from scratch — new country, new approach, same five people.

 

Project Egg is our first fully independent project. No publisher. No middleman. Just us, the game, and the players who actually want it to exist.
